  1. We know it’s autoimmune so then why treat it from the outside? If any topicals work then when you stop applying it comes right back. It’s NOT a dermal issue it’s auto immune.

The Three-Prong Approach™ for treating vitiligo, which mobilizes healing to inhibit disease advancement and restore skin pigment, using the three treatment modalities: vitamin / nutritional therapy, phototherapy, and topicals. Specifics are in our book: The Use of Vitamin Therapy for the Treatment of Vitiligo

  2. Good morning. Isn’t some amount of Vitamin C, topically applied, as an ingredient in face cleansers, safe for people with vitiligo? It is supposed to help with the hyperpigmentation which can also occur with vitiligo.

    1. Hello Valerie,

When applied topically, vitamin C can depigment the skin. Hyperpigmentation is darkening of the skin. That’s why some people use face cleansers etc. with vitamin C as an ingredient.

    1. Hey Diane,

Vitamin C, folic acid, and B12 are important for vitiligo. Pantothenic acid, copper, and zinc are also good for vitiligo. All of these are in Recouleur
