The American Vitiligo Research Foundation (AVRF) was founded in 1995 and is the oldest vitiligo charity!
Founder Stella Pavlides received an exquisite Hermes mug as a gift a few years ago from childhood friend Shermane who is now deceased. This mug has never been used but it was in Stella’s curio cabinet. Out of her commitment to helping those with vitiligo, she decided to raise money for the AVRF by asking for donations. On July 12, 2023, the AVRF will hold a drawing and send the mug to the name that is drawn. This Hermes Le Jardin de Pythagore Mug Cup porcelain is selling for on Ebay for $338.30!
